| How
to display your own picture
with User Account?
Hi friends I have
brought many surprising and
useful tips for you but today
my tip is very interesting.
By using this tip you can use
your own picture for your account.
Windows XP gives you full control
to manage your account information,
but one of the most interesting
thing is that the method you
can modify it to reproduce your
personality. There are many
windows default pictures such
as plastic frogs and rubber
duckies provided by Microsoft
for user accounts. All pictures
are fine and good but sometimes
you might desire some more private
and nice-looking picture with
your name.
In addition, you
want to see your picture every
time when you log on your computer
and also every time you click
on the start menu.
Follow the given steps to add
any specific picture on welcome
screen:
To use this feature,
you will need to be logged into
your computer with administrative
rights.
First of all,
scan your picture and save it
with .bmp, .gif and .jpg format.
Click Start button,
go to Settings > Control
Panel and click on User Accounts
option.
Under User Accounts
page, click on your account
name and then click on "Change
my picture" option.
After that click
on "Browse for more pictures"
and go to the folder that contains
the picture that you have chosen.
Select the picture
and then click on OK button,
and your picture will come into
view in place of existing Picture
area of User Account screen.
It also can be visible on your
logon screen and on the start
menu.
